Just bought a flat screen TV , Missus decided we have to be HD ready. Takes up less room than our big,fat Toshiba. The picture is fine but then so is the BF Toshiba TBH. The sound ,however is not good , bit tinny, it has only little narrow speakers set in the bottom. Never thought about the sound TBH

Can't adjust in the Audio menu, no bass etc, all you can do is add a cinema /surround sound do-dah, cheapest around

TBH for 160 quid I don't think you can expect great sound.

My 1000 quid Panasonic plasma sounds quite reasonable, but when I pipe the sound through my hifi suddenly it sounds somewhat feeble.

And also did you know that most LCD screens are made by Samsung for allmost all the makes of LCD TV,I think only phillips and panosonic make their own screens i know thay make all of Sony's screens.

Brother-inlaw works for a tv retailer and he's said keep away from the new LED tv for at least 18 months not very good at the moment.
