have you tried percussive maintenance?

first thing i would try is replace the batteries. if it still doesnt work, its probably a trip back to fluke for repair. how old is it?

I would recommend a Megger 1502 (but then i like megger). others will say use fluke.... really, they both have their advantages and its down to personal preference what you get
