Fluke 1653 Leads

I've just purchased a Fluke 1653 second hand and have now noticed that the green croc clip is missing. Is it needed or can I get by without it?

If I do need it are they all standard or do I have to get the specific ones again?

i would say the croc clip would be needed as it clips to the earth bar ? :|

A lot of these leads are interchangeable most seem to be the 4mm ones.
