Just found out that when my local Focus closes at the end of the month it will become a Wickes

apparently most will become B+Q or Wickes if they are not already in the local area

went to my local Focus to see if i could get a bargain....nope still cheaper at B+Q ffs

Can I suggest that if anyone uses B&Q they apply for their trade card which is actually, Screwfix . I got a good discount on my bathroom suite at B&Q , you go out through the trade only section instead of the tills. You get a black credit card thing with Trade UK on it , covers Screwfix and B &Q

It's only on trade stuff. I've had a card for a while. If you buy dulux paint it's at retail price but if you buy dulux trade it gets cheaper. Hth

I have had a B&Q TradePoint card for a while now....

well... ever since our local B&Q re-vamped the trade exit to "Trade-Point"..

I used to get pee'd off with the automatic tills or no staff on the bog-standard tills so always tended to go out through the trade Exit anyway!

So when it changed I had to get the new Trade point Card to still use that exit!

But even on some everyday stuff there are some discounts..

I had some Floorboards, skirting board and floor oil before Christmas when I was decorating some stuff at home..
