What you have said there, Albert - Has completely thrown me. I used to be so up to date on Technology. Everyone used to come to either my Brother or I when thisng needed doing "Technical".

I haven't a bloody clue about Today's Technology. :(

Things have moved on from the two baked bean cans with string between them...

and the football cards.. pegged on the frame of your push-bike, through the spokes to make a motorbike noise!

(is that what biker mike still uses?) ?:|

Things move one soooooooo fast! :_| :_|

spose that last big change you had to cope with was ....

out with stilts... in with pogo stick!!!! ]:) ] :)

Once at school 50 years ago in the science class I had to show the class how to make a crystal set, well into that sort of thing then, sending morse code (well sort of) over the air waves for my mate to pick up. My dad made a radio ham transmitter 6ft high,2 ft deep & 2ft wide, how times have changed

I remember jamming lollypop sticks in there to make the noise. Going through endless trainers beacause i used my foot a rear break.

And best of all.... The square bread bag sealers with the best before date on... putting them on my spokes.

Another one is the OLD cans of pop - I would take the ring pull off, split it and use the bottom half to launch the ring. Great fun.

Oh - Those were the days. :x

I didn't think the word 'safe' was invented until around 1990...? ?:|

or was it early 1991...

What`s "safe" these days?

" Don`t go out to play there; you`ll get wet/dirty/cold/hayfever) delete as appropriate.

We used to play in ANY weather; eat grass, mud, worms. Fall out of trees, cut hands open on bits of glass, and carry on playing. It`d heal. Now; it seems that the kids have no natural immunity, because they`re not allowed to socialise with the "normal" germs; which I believe helped inocculate us against all these problems.

Yes, we had tv, computers, etc. You played/watched FOR A SHORT TIME, between supper & bed, etc.

(I`ve gone off on one, haven`t I? - Sorry)

Oh, aye. Evenin` All.
