Have Solar Made Simple, Bradford gone under?

We had our system installed by Solar Made Simple of Bradford in the summer, and it now appears they have gone under. Can anyone confirm this? and secondly, who is now monitoring my system? I suspect nobody, can I register with someone else? I do want to add a few other bits to the setup, would another installer/supplier take me on do you think?

I cannot comment on any factual details regarding any business activities...
But from my perspective, a few alarm bells could start ringing?

You should have a link to the inverter portal, so you will be able to monitor it yourself.

Thanks all. Rory Carty’s name appears on both companies and he’s the fella I dealt with. Personally I had my system installed fine (ish) but by the looks of Facebook, a number of people have been left high and dry by him, and possibly owed money, but I’m not 100% sure on that.

I have the app but it’s limited, certainly in respect to individual faults or performance of panels, so I’m still not sure if my system is been monitored.

were you promised monitoring at panel level?

The standard apps will soon tell you if there's an issue. Depending on what inverter you have, you may be able to set it up to notify of any faults. But I would not be too concerned, your inverter will check over the system , AC and DC, every day as part of it's start up routine - if there's any issues it will soon find them.

As for performance, you can always have a look at similar systems on the SMA public portal to compare outputs. There's probably quite a few other sites doing the same thing where people publish their performance numbers, I havn't looked for such things for many years, have a google!
