Hi there, another dopey sod that left it late in life to become an electrician and believed all the sales pitch from Access to Trade in thinking I could become a Qualified Professional Electrician in a YEAR!!!

Since they went bust I transferred to OLCI in Bristol and have completed all the DEI courses and a few extras like PAT testing and Solar Photovoltaic. Have rang around Bath (home Town) offering to work for free in my spare time to get some on site experience as I wish to be a good Sparky not a bodger!! Unfortunately no luck there so have been doing bits and bobs for free for friends just to get by.

I have paid for the infamous 2391 course but not even attempting it until I got some more experience under my belt.

Well thats enough from me and hope to chat to some of you soon.

Wishing you luck, its not all as they say. It's hard times in the economy at the moment and politicians/bankers don't give a to%%. Once the olympics are over things should improve in the general economy. Just keep trying and something will come up.
