Hi to all.

3 years ago I bought a Honeywell HS331S system.

Bought extra sensors etc.

18 months later I installed it.

Instructions were rubbish so spent a lot of time ringing/emailing Honeywell technical.

Their instructions and diagrams they emailed me were nothing like the manual?

Eventually, I got it up and running.

Walk tested etc and everything fine.

A few months later my problems began...

It started randomly chiming from the panel, or just going into full-on siren mode when it wasn't set.

Or when it was set.

Nothing on panel to say any batteries needed replacing.

Sick of hearing it I put it in disarm mode and decided I'd just leave it off and put it down to a waste of money.

Several months ago the panel started chiming or full siren again.

I want to disconnect it and just remove the panel from the wall.

I'll leave the siren box up outside.

How do I remove the control panel so the alarm/box doesn't go off and scare me to death!

Can't find anything on Honeywell or Youtube about removing the system.

Plenty of stuff about installing.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

.Thank you for the replies.

There was no indicator lit on the panel to show a low battery.

So it looks like getting the ladders out to get up to the box.

Many thanks again to both of you.
