My last minute job tomorrow is "I was changing a light fitting, I had marked all the cables, but the markers fell off. Now I have no lights downstairs"

So that's my free day tomorrow gone then. Shouldn't take long though.

I might have tomorrow off. Don't know why everyone is trying to do shopping 2 days before Christmas, it's not going to get any quieter no matter how many years you try it.

My quick "fix the light I messed up" job was a bit longer than expected as I also had to change the other 2 fittings he didn't even touch after he messed up the first one.

Shucking fite fittings with ES lamp holders with those horrible "push the wire in and it should clamp itself" terminals.

Then I spent the afternoon doing more tiling on the roof.

I'm told I am not allowed to go on the roof tiling tomorrow. Why ever not? it's not as though I am going out to work is it.  I;m told I am not "in the sprit of Christmas" Too damn right, far too much important stuff needs doing.

I Find it strange that electrical,stuff can magically change its own internal connections with NO external interference OR without anyone seeing it
