Ok you Apple freaks, don't have a pop at Me please:slap

I have just installed IE9, basically every time I try to boot it up it comes up with an error message.

I do have Mozilla installed on here

Is there any way of making Mozilla My primary IE of sorts? :innocent

IMHO you'd be better off going to

Control panel>Add/remove programs

And getting rid of IE.... And while your at it get rid of Vista.. XP is much better, I've heard good things about Win7 as well!

I think it comes under windows components, that is if you really want to remove it ;)

As for vista, it is really well known for being buggy,, just because it came with it on doesnt mean it has to stay

If you fancy a change you could try Ubuntu off CD to begin with and then dual boot if you find you like it,,, it's much faster than any windows product

Nothing good about Seven, it should have been called 666 :slap Its still a bloated piece of garbage that has to have you run through hoops to set it up properly, then when you just get it almost right MS updates it and screws everything
Kel suprise another knock at the worlds most popular OS :p

Do you have to wipe windows off before running ubuntu. I wanna have a lookie at this ubuntu if yous recon it's much better than ms. Any links for a download? Thanks

m4tty,

Try here:

Download | Ubuntu

You will need to be a little more computer savvy perhaps then with M$ Windoze, and there are a few limits as to what hardware will run and what M$ Windoze progs will run under it.

You select from here and download then burn to and boot from the cd.

Matty,

If you wat to have a look just burn it as an iso disk, then boot it from the DVD.. Be aware though that it won't run anywhere near as fast as running off the HDD, but it can give you a good indication of any hardware comparability issues.

Then you can either install it as a dual boot or wipe windows off and run it from scratch.

When I had unbutu on my laptop, it'd boot up in about 20 seconds and shut down in<10, and t ran sooooo much quicker.
