Guys,

I'm wondering about the meanings of the numbering system for IEC Electric Motors. What does 160L or 225S or 200LG mean? Is there anyone who can help me with this? If you can pass me a book or a page that explains these things, it would be a big help. Thanks!

IEC = International Electrotechnical Commission, the numbers refer to the size/dimension of the motors. For instance the 160 l refers to the frame 160mm from base of foot to centre line of shaft
