Can't use any of them admin, they won't fit. I tend to join 10mm cables using Klippon SAK10 connectors mounted on a DIN rail in a box. I am sure there will be other ideas to follow.

What you doing?

Cheers Steve

Thanks Guys.

Uninsulated on live conductors? :_| They will be heatshrunk too.

Would you Heatshrink then add Sleeving over that?

you need something like this

EF sells them, and CPC has them on offer every so often

Just an idea! Wot about a deep single pattress with a 45A cooker connection plate :)

I've done this before and ensures no live parts exposed but I did make it accessable under floor boards for future inspection or a rewire on that circuit. It was the only thing I could think of at the time that was safe .

i have extended a 10mm live and neutral conductor using heat shrink over the tape which was fine, heat shrink i made go about an extra 3 inches each side on the original insulation and just used a 2kw hair dryer to shrink the heat shrink

Admin , use the through crimps as Andy shows, but your normal pharty little crimper may not be up to the job on 10mm . Heat shrink sleeve or tape 'em .
I have a pair of Ratchet crimpers... One for non-insulated and the other for insulated crimps.

you need a bigger crimper,

(Im sure someone has said that before, or maybe it was about a boat.!)

eddys do them too, uninsulated with some heatshrink will be fine, then some heatshrink over the top.

you get a decent crimper that does upto 25mm I think for under
