Looking at installing a MHRV system that needs boost facility from each wet room, could run off lights but only works then if light switched on! Next best option is pir but not sure if its possible to wire these in parallel with a 3 core (Like smoke alarm) or can they be damaged by a sort of reverse feed? or do I need to run a separate cable to each?

Cheers

Check what the mvhr needs.

Wiring it from a light switch or PIR sensors will give the mvhr 230V when they are on.  Is that what it really wants, or is it expecting a volt free contact?  you might have to incorporate a relay to achieve that.

Personally in my own house I'm going to have a manual boost switch in each bathroom.

A lot of PIR's actually have an internal relay giving a volt free contact that can be wired in parallel just like any other switch, (the contact is only live if an internal strap link is connected). You would need to check the spec of the PIR's your are considering. It is very common using multiple PIR's to operate the same light(s). So using multiple PIR's to operate any other load should not be to complicated.
