Inverter And Battery Maintenance?

Im using Microtek 1100VA Pure Sinvewave inverter with Exite "Instabright" 150AH Flate Plate battery for less than 1 month ....My doubt is... My inverter has three sliding switches in its back panel, that is 

1) Charging Current Voltage (High and Low) 

2)Float Charging voltage (High and Standard) 

3) Input Voltage range (Standard and Narrow) 

Now in my case my switches are currently in 

1) = High 

2) =Standard 

3) Standard 

Now please explain me how to maintain the battery for long life with selecting correct switch...? 

What input range is actually ok for my home? I don't use any PC at my home....

trickle charging is generally better for battery life, so I would be inclined to set input 1 to low, unless you need fast charging?
