had my NIC assessment on monday,

all was going swimmingly well until he asked me if i had my 17th yet

um, not yet was my reply.

never mind says he, we can allow you to use your 16th for the time being until you get you 17th done,

well, ummm, ahhhh, its like this,

you shoulda seen his jaw hit the floor when i told him i only had a 15th.!!!! :^O :^O:^O

he really couldnt work out how i had a 2391 and no 16th......

anyhoo, booked in for a 2day course soon, :)

see, you guys are slowly dragging me into the 20th century!!!!!

On my assessment back in May I had to show my C&G 2382-10 cert (because he hadn't seen one yet), the nic bloke then piped up that he needs to still do his.

From there it was all talk about the course & 17th implications for the industry over a few brews on the patio, an hour later showed rcd/Zs & ring cont of the office ringmain another brew & he was gone.

well, two day course inc exam.

an a 94% pass.!

dunno if that good or bad,!

but thats what i got.

so if a doddery old fart that hates the regs can get that after 2days tution then i think most of you guys dont have much to worry about."
