Kiteboarding / windsurfing

Going away for a few days to Fuerteventura and the place is big on Kitsurfing and windsurfing , thinking of booking some lessons for one of the above , any of you lads had a go ? how hard is it ? Looks easy enoughray

Kiteboarding is easy-ish but takes practice and to get full enjoyment from it I would suggest powerkiting on land first to ensure you understand how the theory behind kiting works and power windows etc etc. The kites are big and mine used to lift all 18 stone of me clean off the ground with my kiteboard. Just sold all my gear as don't have time anymore but it is a great hobby!
