My sis recently replaced her TFT panel (sat on it ) so likely you can get a spare, I'll check with her and see if this company do other spares too

ebuyer expensive for laptops. I looked and for similar spec to my Dell I was looking at about 30% more. never been back to look. have driven past the warehouse on the M62 a few times

no, the built in fan is ok, I had a little plate kinda thingy(technical term)that plugged into the usb with 3fans in it that my laptop sat on to keep it cool,

laptop is on almost constantly, and now I only have the built in fan it runs warm and slows way way down after a bit.

have seen ones on e.bay but no idea if they are any good or pure cheap rubbish.
