Evening Apache,
My girlfriend's sister's hamster had a lump on it's chin, and it's burst. It's crying in pain all the time, and everytime it's stroked it's hair comes out. A bit of reading suggests the lump could have been a tumour or cyst. If it was a tumour, I presume the cancerous cells are still present in it's body?
The sister is 17 going on 7 and refuses to take it to the vet incase it has to be put down, but the poor thing shouldn't be made to suffer because she doesn't like the thought of him dying. Any ideas what could be wrong with it?
Thanks.
