hi all,

i need to get hold of some ETN mcb breakers and I am looking for wholesalers that stock them and cant find any on-line....

please help

the only reason to NOT use the "wrong" make of mcb, is if the instructions say you must only use a particular make or particular model.

Who said MEM , i said Eaton    ;
theres a difference?  :eek:   ;)

The latest Eaton MCBs look to be a new design ,  The older  MEM & or Bill Talisman won't fit .   I tried it last week on the latest Eaton, had to order 2 to fit , plus they are 3 times the price of Craptree/ Control Gear/ Steeple / Wylex etc.

I dread to think what the cost of an Eaton TP 16 way  is.

Eaton are now  tied up with Moeller. I think there control gear is dearer because its not made in China. Think it used to be made in Austria.

It seemed to me that when MEM aquired Bill Switchgear, (both big employers in B,ham)  they ran both brand names for a while then Bill disapeared .

MEM went up in price and now its Eaton its even more expensive.    As said , probably because its not made in China but how long can they compete at those prices ............SP Eaton breakers @ £12 ea !!
