MK LN 5940 type 2mcb 40 amp

hi it's my first time can any one tell me how i can buy a old MK ln 5940 type 2 40 amp mcb and is it the right one as it's like looking for hens teeth

Any brand of 40a breakers of this generation are like rocking horse poo I'm afraid.

Proteus do a replacement for about £15 + vat from CEF there also was an MK retrofit kit but Im not sure where you would get one.

I'll have a look tomorrow  ( Friday)  Strangely I dug out a 6A  on Monday for a job at a church .

Suggest  if you can remove one temorarily , match up the bottom terminal for the busbar and ( risking arrest by The Electric Police)   go for another make .
