Last weeks install of an inverter system on a communications support vehicle.

SBS Daves compact rcbo's have been used.

12v - 230v inverter / charger / change over switch & a split charge switch.

Yes mate it is pure sine wave but is 2kW continuous on one supply, but it will sync batts/gen or mains to give  4kW peak for 3-4 mins. We went for this unit as it is everything in one box; inverter / charger /ups mode switch over/auto change over switching.

What ever you go for don't scrimp on the batteries, get some decent Cyclic Gel Batteries it will save money in the long run.

We have tried a few inverters from varying companies, but the ones supplied by Antares are spot on & their customer service & Tecc'y dept's are on the ball.

Yes we have a Victron system on our 15 ton Merc Atego control unit. works well & does what is needed.

Again it is supplied via a battery bank / mains or a Fischer panda on-board genset.
