moving meter

Hi got a job comming up to move meter and fit new consumrer unit the question is tns system meter aprox 5ft off floor in garage the garage is being knocked down and new room built but smaller,I have to move meter 3ft to left can the main incoming cable be bent 90 deg not to tight without damaging cable.

Hope someone can help was thinking of calling out dno to move cable.

That would be your best bet
I would even dream of trying to move a cable sheath, just imagine the slightest little crack on the already brittle insulation :eek: :O

doesnt bear thinking about,!!!

and you need to put a full 90 on it!?

give the DNO a call.

if something did go wrong whilst you were trying to move stuff... :eek:

I dont think you would have a leg to stand on?? :|

and then some even bigger bills to put things right..

and one unhappy customer! :(
