I have a customer who has a damaged lead on their mower and they want me to replace it (good!!).

Does anyone know where I could get one tomorrow????????

Does BnQ sell them???? (can't find any on their on line site)

does anybody know the reason you should orange flex outdoors, its because it stands out so you dont hit in the grass when cutting :^O why not stick with blue :coat

I actually have 25m of 2.5mm 3c orange flex in the garage,,,, but most (if not all) mowers use 2c flex and there would be nowhere to terminate the earth!!
cut it off @ both ends. You do worry about nothing!

:D

argh well i have an earth on all our outdoor equipment and just finished it in a small connector block within the equipment connection ;)
you export the earth to your lawnmower?! Seriously? Oh dear. The fault current will go through you - the mower is double insulated.

Was nice knowing you. ;)

PMSLNice `pache. Though how are you going to end up carrying the fault current? the cable has an earth, which should be a damn sight better then human skin.

1 - nil
doubtful as sooon as you cut into neutral and earth or live and earth the rcd would see an imbalance across live and neutral supply and cut off the supply ;) ; ) :p
(in my best Scouse accent) Calm down, calm down

twas a joke.

:)
