My friend lost his job working in the pet shop.....

... he was caught with his hands in the trill.....

Earlier that day a customer had walked into the same pet shop demanding to buy an unusual pet.... he had wanted a pet bumble bee for his wife.

"don't be ridiculous !... " my friend had remarked. ".. we do not sell pets like that in here"...

The man apparently slammed his fist down on the counter and yelled "... that's not good enough... I saw one in the window yesterday ! ".

I went into the local Indian restaurant and tried to order a Chicken Tarka. The Indian gent replied.... "surely you mean Chicken Tikka ?...."

"No no" I said..... "it is a bit like Chicken Tikka..... but this one is ' a little otter'..... "

The following week I ordered a Geoff Boycott Curry...... you get the runs... but slower.

Next morning I nearly drowned in my bowl of Alpen. I was pulled under by a strong currant.
