My Octopus bill and my PV App don’t match - anyone else?

I recently compared my Sonnen App for my 14 panel solar system (plus 6 kw battery), and realised that Octopus was charging over 3 times what my Sonnen said I should be paying (850 KWh vs 29. Octopus of course say their meter is far more accurate but my meter is till ticking over on lots of days when I should not need the grid - and I am also contributing via buy back (which is matching correctly on Sonnen and Octopus).

How can I validate the issue? It’s almost as if my solar output is not being reflected in the bill.

Is this a known issue?

metering is always a hard question to answer, one is calibrated, your Sonnen isn't.

You could try shutting down solar and see what the meter registers with a steady load running like the tumble drier, then reinstating the solar and seeing if energy from grid drops to match solar outputs.
