Yes there's some strange place names there. Noosa was another one I thought quite odd.They have a rather neat system of house numbering in rural areas. There address is 999 Emery's bridge road. That does not mean they are the 999th house. It means they are 9.99 Km from the start of the road, and being an odd number they are on the left had side of the road. It's done to make it easy to find rural places, particularly for the emergency services.There are some "enterprising" businesses in Gympie. The one that caught my attention was the "car and dog wash" You can see it now, "I'm just taking the car and dog to be washed dear" Perhaps I completely missed what it really meant? Or was it a miss spelling of cat and dog wash?
