Don't think Napit recognises a domestic installer as such, or at least they never used to. ? 

However you do have to have a recognised I&T cert to join them, or at least it was that way. 

 
Wouldn't it be a good idea if all the scams got together and ........agreed to merge and act in the best interests of all the competent sparks in the UK.

If I was in charge there would be none of this "LLP" or charitable status for the scams - a simple LTD status with transparent financial structure.

Membership fees reduced.... surveillance visits binned on an annual basis.... done on a random basis when members fail to submit ... copies of insurance, calibration  certs etc on time.....the QM status binned so that ALL people signing certs HAD to be trained up to the latest version of BS7671.

Membership fees based on the numbers of employees....

Nice and simple

One last point - nobody in charge who hasn't served time at the coal face.... so bye bye Emma Clancy et al.
