I bought an empty consumer unit for installation in a shed project and now I have no idea how to install the neutral/earth terminals. The DIN rail won't fit the DIN terminals and there's only a space marked for the terminals.
Any help much appreciated.
Personally I'd start again with a new board, and possibly rcbos for rcd protection, assuming the feeds not rcd protected, or can done so not rcd protected.
Might help if you show all the other components you haven't managed to fit. Where did you get it from it isn't a recognised brand seen in the UK, I would personally return it and source a recognised brand.
Terminal blocks for earth and neutral.
Question - How much do you value your shed and what you put in it ? ........If it means something get hager/wylex etc, a metal enclosure and populate it with some decent stuff.
Have you the busbar assembly for this ? Also there is no RCD in the assembly.....
What are your plans for said shed, where is your supply ? what are you expecting to do in the shed ? It sounds like you have jumped and bought before you have fully thought through the installation. As i would say that box isnt really suitable.
