Hi all

Been asked to provide tv distribution for a new build.

I intend to run cable from main aeriel and from sky box to distribution board in the attic and from there to six different locations.

Does this sound ok and what would be the best type of distribution board?

I am at a loss about the SKY+ arrangement. Would I run 2 cables from the SKY dish to the distribution board thus making the board 3in and 6/8 out or would I have to run these cables to the SKY box and from there to the distribution board.

Hope this is clear.

Dave

sky+ will need 2 dedicated feeds from LNB. TV will need aerial. if you plan on feeding sky signal to other rooms, you will need another coax from the sky box

Also note that you may well need the rf to the sky box in order to distribute it to the rest of the building (as often the uhf is not linked except though the sky box).

Not with a loftbox you don't.
