Hello Folks,
new to this forum, but familiar with other forums - cars mainly.
As title says - I'm a scotsman living in N' Ireland. The missus is from Belfast area, and I don't have normal 9-5 job, so move wasn't a problem.
Bit about me, started life as an aircraft mechanical/hydraulic engineering tech for 16 years. Got bored of it, and watching all sorts climbing onboard helis I was involved in maintaining in Aberdeen, decided I could do that.
Now working all round the world from North Sea to the coast of Angola, India to the Gulf of Mexico. Working on ROVs - (google it if interested but unsure) - I've had to learn electrics on the job, but with some courses dealing with the basics. So now working with currents up to 45A, and voltages ranging from 3000ac to 12dc.
Do a bit of DIY around the house and car when I am at home - not as often as I would like!
Looking for help and advice, and help out if and when I can.
