I am going to do a Consumer Unit change next Saturday and I want to have this as one of my NICEIC assesment jobs. Does any one have any tips that may help me? Its on a TN-S supply and has quite a bit of DIY wiring in the house. Do I have to ammend all the bodge jobs or do I just need to note them on the EIC? Also, do I just do the usual testing before energising the new Consumers Unit?

thanks for your useful information mate, nice to see there are some nice helpfull people on here!!

you mean you dont want to do your own research. there have been multiple threads recently on CU changes & certificate/assessment.

since your too lazy, ill even use the search function for you.

thread 1

thread 2

thread 3

thread 4

thread 5

thread 6

funnily enough, i found all 6 of these on the first page of searching 'cu change testing'
