Normal or Override

Hi everyone, I've moved into a home with some old PV panels, no instuctions left behind, so I was wondering what the twin switches for Normal or Overide actually do?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I suspect that switch is nothing to do with the PV.  Outside lights perhaps, normal = sensor operated, override = always on?  Turn them to Override and go and see if any outside lights have come on.

Thank you, there were also normal/override switches in airing cupboard, which were for outside floodlights. 

I'll check this out as I didn't think it would have 2 lots of override.

nothing to do with solar. Lights 'front and back' perhaps?

NB, did you get the Feed in Tariff transferred to you as part of the sale of the house?

Hi Blinky, yes we sorted the FIT, was way more difficult than it needed to be.

I have a flood light on rear, and outside light above back door, so just need to see if these work, when it's dark, movement sensor, or if they are dead. 

Just added to list of things to do.
