I have just had my first ever bottle of Captain Smiths 'Classic Ale'

brewed by "Titanic Breweries" Stoke On Trent... 5.2% 500ml

'A red brown full bodied beer' as it says on the bottle!

quite pleasant actually..Applaud SmileyApplaud Smiley

Any one else tried this?Blushing? :| :p

or should I try a Makita SDS battery drill??

Think the drill has more of a kick but the beer more refreshing. :^O

a "strong Yorkshire ale" as it says on the bottle an nice 5.7% jobbie..

something about a sheep wot cant get up without help if lying on its back???

Are they fizzy specs? Can't stand fizzy beer
not in the english sense of the word, NO.

but they are keg lagers, proper natural lager tho, (with bubbles! :eek: )

not like that carp english stuff made from chemicals.

god I hate carling and all that other chemical rubbish you get here. :_| :_| :_|

saying that, the guiness here is rubbish too....

Thought they claim all the Guiness in the UK is now made in Dublin......

 
ORIGINAL draught "old peculiar" is somewhat hard to beat.

The pubs which "used" to serve it had a small stamp at the bar, with which they stamped your (1/2 pint) glass. If you had 3 stamps, they wouldn`t serve you any more.............................. :(
