anyone got a couple of 512k PC3200 DDR400MHz RAM sticks kicking about?

needed a 32bit machine tonight so fired up an ancient old PC I have in the little ones room running Edubuntu ,

jaysus was it slow! headbang ,

it ran fine once the programmes were opened/loaded, just takes forever getting stuff to open.

its only got 2 slots so is maxed out with 2x256 sticks,

I dont mind paying.

ah, so its still buyable new then? thats good to know,

might try and get a quick visit to the computer market on saturday,

although if its going to be 20

That'll do for me Onoff. :)
I use them A LOT for pretty much everything pc/av related. Good prices on interconnect leads, HDD's, all sort. look out for their specials, genuine bargains often - I got a 32GB USB stick for a tenner post free a while back. Watch out though for the postage on small items you might end up paying say

Yep, Ive used them a few times in the past, got a wide screen LED THERE A COUPLE of years back, and a few other bits and bobs, was actually on last night looking at tablets, never thought about there for ram, bad me. :|

deffo worth that sort of money to try on the old PC anyway.
