Open wound on dog's upper leg

2cm wide, skin-deep wound on the upper leg from laying on broken glass at the park. do I need to see a vet? Is home treatment of cleaning the wound and dressing with sutures enough? Don't know much about animal care but if that was me it'd be worth a visit to the non emergency room. 

So I'd probably take it to the vets, wouldn't want it getting infected. An they can make sure no minute glass pieces are lodged in anywhere to cause an issue later.
