I checked my road, sweet FA although there has been steady stream of complete refurbishments over the past few year's, some of which are showing signs of coming part at the seams.

just treading carefully as not to upset someone.

Just had a look at that link ....some of my jobs didn't show up , many did.   When you find the cert for that address you can purchase it apparently.

Makes you wonder if we should adopt the American system of independent inspection of finished installs.

The AHJ’s come under as much fire as our scams the trouble is a AHJ inspector has teeth even though he is in the wrong.

Can you imagine an AHJ system here?

they cannot come up with ONE scheme that covers ALL competent persons!

corgi/gas safe managed it 

lets have licensing like in the States and only supply materials to bonanfide contractors. It wont cure all the problems...but it would go a long way towards it
