Pc Ontv

Hi

I've just rigged up a spare PC onto the TV in the lounge so we can do a bit of karaoke and watch a bit of you tube on a big screen.

Thing is, every now and again it comes up no signal and then the picture on the screen reappears.

Am I doing something wrong or is the normal when you use a 36inch TV as a PC screen

is it sync'd properly?  ie, frame rate etc,

are you using windoze? if so I have NO idea how to do it,

but I can watch my PC or laptop perfectly fine on my living room tv.

i'm using windows 7 and I aint got a clue

sorry, Im on Ubuntu and it syncs spot on by itself on the PC,

occassionally on the lappie I have to go into screen settings and change the 2nd screen[tv] to a different setting,

as its on 2 screens[laptop & tv] I have to change tv from mirrored as its a different resolution to the lappie screen,

buts thats the only issue,

it never blacks out,

are you using HDMI or VGA ?

could be a dodgy lead if its an interrmittent thing,  :C

ive come from monitor out to monitor in on the TV. I'm using a multi pin monitor lead

first thing Id try would be a different lead tbh,

and make sure its screwed in at both ends.
