Portable decon unit (trailer type that gets hooked up like a caravan)which has 1 x CU for the lights and tubular heaters protected by mcb's and a 30mA RCD and 2 x CU for 2 x showers both with mcb's and 30 mA RCDs. The owner has been asked to get electrical certificates for the unit but I'm at a loss as to how this can be done in his yard as the supply to the 3 CU's get connected up on site via 240 trailing leads (2 x 32 amp and 1 x 16 amp) and the properties on the supply will differ with each different site they are on. Would the Decon unit need to be tested and certified every time it's put on a different site or could it possibly be classified as a portable appliance ? headbang Any help here appreciated lads :C ps it's no wonder I Guinness to much :D Brian
