Primary Supply Overcurrent Protective Device (Main Fuse)

Hi all,

I have an old Installation Certificate for a job at my house done by a spark before we moved in. In the box marked Short Circuit Capacity it reads 15Ka for the main incoming fuse. Where did he get this information from?

different service fuses have different KA ratings. but i cant think of any that are 15KA

if he has the KA rating, he probably have the BS and type of fuse. what is it?

BS88-1 40KA

BS88-2 88KA

BS1361 16 or 33KA

It's listed on the certificate as a BS 1361 Type 2

BS 1361 Type 11, rated SCC of 33kA
