radials/ring

Evening fellas and ladies, I have been to look at a job and have been thinking of using radials instead of a ring, down stairs 4 d/sw skts ( kitchen on seperate ring 2 yrs ago ) I thought 20amp would be enough, upstairs skts 4d/sw skts and thats it, so what thoughts have you on this then ??, both radials will be fed from a 20amp supply and be in 2.5mm ( no volt drop short runs )

As long as your key safety considerations a are met then no probs..

e.g.

Fuse rating smaller than cable rating, (allow for derating if in insulation etc..)

Max Volt drop not exceeded.

Max Zs not exceeded.

then just add a bit of good workmanship & proper materials!!
