Dear Cohorts

I wonderd if you can advise me with regards to installing diffrent manufacturers eqpt in distribution boards and if its acceptable.

The reason I ask is a customer has a few Dorman smith loadlimiter boards and their rcbos are

distribution boards etc are only tested with the same make equipment, so if something went wrong because a different make part was installed, your to blame. but in the real world, as long as it fits nicely and complies to same standards, probably no problem with it

Can't see a problem doing that, as long as the Chints have a BS number.
