red emergency klick lead

How do you connect up an emergency fitting above a doorway outside that is from a 4 core flex red plug click.Do you just connect up as per usual black unswitched live,brown switched live,earth neutral.In the plug black is a etc?

black is unswitched aux/charge line, brown is normal switched live

I always thought that emergency fittings should not be connected via a plug and socket .

Yes I know the red Klick is made for the job but thats what I was brought up with TBH , hard wiring into the fitting.

i didnt think the klick stuff had a plug on it ???

just a bare end to connect to incoming cable normally singles,,,,,,,could be wrong though

but the last time i came across them this what i did
