Just heard my quote is accepted for a rewire darn sarf in London  , might need a hand from anyone local to finish  it in two weeks .

Some big house at the end of The Mall ,   quoted £5K    all the other quotes were just silly . :C

Seems you may have gazumped me and forgot just who got you where you are these days.........

Sorry about that Stepps ... give us a hand if you like  , get it done in the two weeks .

Yeah just surface clipped T&E  and cheapo white accessories .   A few chandeliers need getting rid of , bit of a Delboy job I think,  then just fit 12" pendants.

I think theres a spare room , we could doss down instead of big hotel bills.

That was the idea Ducky ,   win the job with a low quote ..... get Stepps in there stripping out ... ,   load up the Robin Reliant  , down the scrappy ,  jobs a good'un .

Jayaus Deke, you undercut me by £300,!!!!

Not sure I want to work with that anymore, that's the 2nd time, you done the same with that terrace on downing st right after I'd priced and spec'd some sort of antit-terrorist room, you took £175 off me there too, for the sake of £2500,,,,,

So you've allowed for the 6500 sockets, 5000 light fittings and 100 miles of cable, I suppose you've lined up some EE personnel and told them the old girl who lives there will supply food and drink!!

OoooH !  Its not occupied is it ?     We only do unoccupied rewires these days.

Thats right ,  its me , my mate Ray , the part time apprentice on tea and making sure we don't let the corgis out ...and Stepps  stripping out the tat .

Just need to order a 300 way , metal consumer unit now and we're away .

Well if you're bailing out I am too ..................plus I just found out we must carry a £12 billion  PL insurance   and thats just for a couple of old paintings they have in there.

by the time the old girl has changed the layout a few times and the old man chooses his man cave layout then the original quote will be out the window. You know what them there southerners are like with over exaggerating she'll probably want a vault for the Crown Jewels when we all know it's a safe for the pension book she means!!

Will they provide free board and lodgings for the 10 years they estimate it will take? Surely one of the 750 rooms must be vacant?

Parking shouldn't be a problem. I understand they have a garage for their very old car, I could park in there with that.

I'll bet there will be problems getting the DNO to upgrade the meter tails.
