I was called back to a customers house where I did some work a few months ago.... 2 of the aerial sockets that I'd fitted had no signal..

She'd had an aerial guy around and he said that she'd need them rewiring..all within 5 mins of being there!!

When I got there I tested cable continuity and for shorting between braid and core... all ok,,, so I test (with a tv) and no signal! then on a different amp output and all's OK...

So all she really needed was a new amp!,,, but there's not much money in that is there Mr Aerial installer

 
My other half's sister is having a new areal fitted next week

I offered to do the job for cheaper on a weekend as only going to supply 3 rooms with the new one. So not a huge job.

My inlaws wanted new arial points and cable,... so i said i will run cable and wire point so that the arial man could come and set up a amp and arieal... making it cheaper.

He came and did his thing for

I was referring to the pet hate of mine, misspelling of the word aerial. ;)

I just copied of Mr Stuvxyz's van. He's a local electrician. Dirt cheap. I assumed 1234567890 was his phone number.......
