Running DOS programs under Windows 7

As it says in the title, is it possible? I’ve used AutoSketch for my drawings for the past 30+ years, from DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11 up to XP Pro. I bought the latest version of AutoSketch and it is a PITA. I want the old program back and working!

When I get the time I’ll get the old XP machine working again but it is of a venerable age and reliable spares are scarce.

If you have Win 7 Professional or Ultimate you can download Windows XP Mode from MS for nothing:

No joy with the two suggestions above but my head is still full of cotton wool (new (prescribed) medication) so I may well have lost lost my way.

Can you not get a win xp virtual machine to run it?

It's what I use for programming old software.

If your struggling, I could always look at putting a win XP image on a memory stick for you. Then all you would need to do is download something like VMware player to run it.
