Sitting at home with flu! Mate has just emailed me. His client on site has asked for the plc program from an outgoing service provider (another subbie). He's been given a CD with half a dozen .RAR files on. Once unzipped I would have expected there to have been files on there with .twd extensions from what I've been Googling today. Not familiar with Tele/Schneider stuff so not really sure what I should be looking for. Was expecting to see files containing LADDER programmes. Maybe I'm missing something. Only extensions I can see are:

.XTWD

.XML

.TAT

.XDM

Gut feeling favours .XTWD for the ladder programmes. I managed to download Schneider's TwidoSuite 2.2 just for a play. No luck with seeing any of the above - the various .XTWD files available range from 50k to 300k in size. Wondering if .XWTD is a later extension that TS 2.2 won't read?

Any help appreciated.

AFAICT the latest version of the programming SW is 2.20.11, which is downloadable FOC from Schneider.

Or there is Twido Suite 2.31.4, again FOC download.

Run it up, make a programme & save it, then you could see what is what?

Cheers. I must be doing something wrong. Got SmartSuite 2.2 then 2.31.4 (in case the 2.2 was duff / too old) from Schneider on a 28-day trial. I go into Programming Mode then try looking for / opening the .xtwd file(s) but can't as in can't see them. Just get options to open TwidoSoft / TwidoSuite Projects.
