Are there any good sealers on the market for sealing IP Breaches at fuseboxes.

was told fireproof silicon, but not sure.

yes ,had been using compound, but in merchants other day and was talking to another spark who says they use firproof silicon.

its to fill any gaps at fusboxes,or even some shower switches with IP Breaches.

RTV silicon gives off acetic acid during cure.

One must be careful that the acidic fumes do not affect the cables in any form.

This is not really possible when they are fumes.

Acrylic sealant gives off moisture which can affect the insulation resistance due to moisture tracking with the natural contamination in the enclosures.

Why intumescent anyway?
