My local cef offer a 2.5% discount if you pay on time,ie,30 or 60 day`s depending on your terms

My main wholesaler gives 2.5 discount if paid by 30 days but a lot are not doing this now.

Settlement discount is the choice of the wholesaler offered as a carrot to get your regular business and then to get you to pay on time.

30 day accounts - Settlement discount normally payable by the last day of the month following the month of invoice.

60 day accounts - Settlement discount normally payable by the last day of the second month following the month of invoice.
