shortcut on PDA

i have a program on my PDA in the storage card. since its not 'installed' like the other programs, the only way to open it is to go to file explorer, find it, and then click it. is there any way to make a shortcut on the desktop to it? (like under the owner information or something?)

the prog runs direct from media card. jut click the program

depends on the install, it should self install and add a shortcut. do you fit the card and power up the pda or browse and execute the cab file ?

on all the other PDA's ive installed tomtom onto, its fully installed with shortcut. but this version is fully functional, it doesnt install. just need to click program on the media card

cant remember, i seem to remember having the same problem and sorting it so there is a way . its been a while now because i was sick of the battery going flat and having to re install it every time. so i bought 1 .

got it working. tried a different version which installed peoperly

i think i did that too to be honest. there are various installs some install from the pc some from the card and some just drop on the card and run ..
