Does anyone know how to display tabulated data in a post? I don't need table borders, I just want the data in nice orderly rows - a bit like data presented on an EIC test results page.

Extra spaces between the data doesn't work, they just get truncated. The tab key doesn't work, either.

I've tried playing around with the HTML <.table> tag and <&nbsp:> but am getting nowhere fast. Although I could do a screenshot of an Excel table or an HTML table and post as an image, I would prefer to display the data directly in the post.

Any help please, guys?

Funny, just done a preview and it recognises the table tag, but I cant use it. I've had to put a full stop in to show the table tag.

Thanks, Canoe, that will do nicely. So how do I achieve it? When I tried to paste in a section of HTML with <.table> and <./table> tags (ignore the full stops), the tags showed in the post. Yet now I'm doing it on here, the damn things seem to work correctly when I remove the full stops.

Need a smiley for pulling hair out.

A quick look at the page source shows extra break tags so I will have a play around later. If I can't crack it, I may PM you later if thats OK?

Got to go off for now, wife wants me working in the garden.

Thanks for your help.

Well, I've spent a good part of the afternoon having a play. Seems my previous post was a bit of a red herring

<table border><tr><td>test 1</td><td>test 2</td></tr></table>

Think I may have worked out the secret.

<table border><tr><td>so simple if</td><td>you reply with quote</td></tr></table>
